Prologue
When I was younger, I always imagined what things would be like when I was a "grown-up." I would have a husband, a house, the kids, the car, the job. All before I was 25...of course. Everyone always tells you that growing up is hard, that being a grown-up is hard. Yet as children & teenagers, I think we all somehow believe that one day, the answers will magically come to us. That on this magical day, our "Grown-Up Card" will arrive in the mail and we will have all the answers to those nagging little questions like: What the hell am I going to do with my life? So this is the beginning of my story I guess. I'm a twenty-something, college graduate in search of my "Grown-Up Card," wondering what it even means to BE a grown-up, and possibly, secretly hoping I never find out.
